Chris Drenen is a partner of bdlegal having joined the firm in June 2007. Chris has practiced extensively in Queensland and Victoria in litigation and corporate commercial debt recovery and conducts many of our client’s court processes, often without briefing barristers. Chris represents clients in hearings; conferences and mediations in VCAT and all Courts including the Magistrates’, County, Supreme and Federal Circuit Courts.
Chris shares Richard’s view in that bdlegal’s focus is to provide commercial and legal solutions on a cost effective basis for all clients.
Chris was previously employed in local government for 15 years and understands how local government operates specifically the rating system and town planning.
Chris has a business degree (local government administration) from RMIT and a law degree with honours from Bond University.
Chris is a member and past-president of the Rotary Club of Flemington and is currently club secretary. Chris is also a committee member of the Rotary District 9800 Youth Exchange Committee.
